10 months old....a little late

So what else is new? I'm almost a month behind on getting Gavin's 10 month picture on here and in the shortest month of the year....I'll be posting his 11 month picture before I know it! Our little boy is getting too big, too fast. :( He is such a fun little guy and we are enjoying all of our moments with him!

I'm 10 months old!

During his tenth month Gavin:

enjoyed his first (and second....and third....) snow! And even a day of 50+ degrees where he could sit next to the snow and watch his big sister....

earned his first goose egg and bruise...right smack dab in the middle of his forehead...the first of many I am certain!

Started eating mostly table food! His favorites are: grilled cheese, spaghetti (he was shoveling it in his mouth!), macaroni and cheese, any kind of meat (he is his father's son!), pizza...really, anything!

Supervised the construction of our first ever family snowman

He was allowed more free reign of the kitchen area while I would cook or pick up the kitchen...he loves that. He has discovered cabinets and drawers that I don't even think Sydney knows exists YET! He is in to everything. A little part of me really does love his love to explore, but I am terrified of his fearless attitude!


Oh and, I think we have a first non-Mama/Dada word: "Ma"...as in Ma-ggie. :) Maggie should feel honored!!

Our dear sweet boy,
We love you so very very much. You add the most perfect dynamic to our family and you complement your sister so very well. :) We are enjoying every milestone and soaking up your sweet yet mischievous and ornery nature. Your personality is really starting to come through and I can tell already that you will have us laughing and keep us very busy. :)
